Philip G. Satre
Wynn Resorts’ Non-Executive Chairman of the Board since November 2018, Mr. Satre joined the board as vice chairman in August 2018. Mr. Satre’s non-profit positions include President of the National Center for Responsible Gaming and Trustee of The National World War II Museum.

In the non-profit sector, Mr. Satre is President of the National Center for Responsible Gaming; a Trustee of The National World War II Museum; serves on the Board of the National Automobile Museum – The Harrah Collection in Reno, NV; and serves on the Stanford Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Previous Experience
- 1980 to 2005: Various roles at Harrah’s with increasing responsibility, including Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary; President and Chief Executive Officer of its gaming division; culminating in service as CEO and Chairman
- Previously served on the boards of Nordstrom, Inc., International Game Technology PLC, NV Energy, Tabcorp Holdings Ltd. (Australia) and Rite Aid Corporation.
- Various roles in non-profits, including as Chairman of the Guinn Center for Policy Priorities (2013 to 2018) and Emeritus Member of the Stanford University Board of Trustees (2005 to 2010).
Education
- Mr. Satre graduated with a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of California Davis.
